Since Kayleigh was born we have been going pumpkin picking on my birthday. Here are a few of my favorites from this years trip.

Holy Cow a new post!!!!! I love the pics. Your girls are too cute! I love the hats. Where did you get them? I want to get one for Libby. Your pic of Laurelyn is great! Probably better than any other photo place. Keep up the good job!

We don't keep a lot of dinner items in our house because we are rarely at home for dinner time. So any day we are home its "what are going to have for dinner?" On a whim the other night we decided to go up one of the canyons near our house, light a campfire and have hot dogs and smores . The problem is this is not something you should be doing on a whim with 2 young children. So we grabbed some stuff we would need and headed out before it got too dark. The campsite was not too far off the road and I was worried the whole time about Kayleigh running off. She stayed close to me except when she wanted to follow the dumb dog who did not want to stay close. Anyway as soon as we got there Joel headed out to find firewood and left me with the kids and the dog for a good 20minutes or more. Kayleigh's ABC's

The other day Kayleigh was singing her ABC's (she has been for a few months now) and my sister-in-law said I should get it on video. Duh! Why had I not thought of this already? So today while we were playing with music it reminded me to get it on video. Please excuse her nakedness, today is one of those days she will NOT keep her clothes on. Too far behind

Where to begin? The girls are growing so fast. Since I last posted Kayleigh has turned 3. She has been potty trained for a good 6 months and I no longer have to worry about finding surprises after my shower! It's so nice that she can now go to the bathroom all on her own and take care of wiping, washing and dressing herself. I don't even have to worry about her getting into things while she's in there alone anymore. She amazes us everyday with things she says and does. She has a great sense of humor and wit like I've never seen on a 3 year old. One day I will start writing them down and share.... She is enjoying preschool and dance and loves all of her teachers. Those stories are for separate posts though. Laurelyn is now walking and talking, she puts 2 and 3 words together. She is old enough to fight back when Kayleigh takes her toy away and no longer falls for the toy switch out Kayleigh used to pull.
