Ordinary Chaos

I know I will say this a lot, I can not believe how fast she is growing! She will be 3 months in just over a week she has the biggest smiles and loves to coo squeal and "talk". Still growing like crazy she weighed in at 13lbs 3oz and 24 1/4" earlier in the week. She is a WONDERFUL sleeper she is up to 9 hours straight without waking at all during the night, she then nurses and goes right back to sleep for another 2-3 hours. I keep thinking 9 hours is too long but since she is still growing strong I am not about to mess with it. I believe I deserve it after waking with Kayleigh every 2-3 hours to nurse, every night, for 13 months until she was weened. She then woke 1-3 times a night for the next 6 months when she finally learned to put herself to sleep and then go BACK to sleep after waking in the night. I have to give Joel credit for having the patience to sleep train her at 19 months.

So just as I thought I really am not good at keeping an updated blog. I was never good at keeping a journal either except a year or two during high school when I wrote almost everyday. Those entries mostly stared with "I didn't go to school today...". Anyhow here are a few more recent photos. Kayleigh is in love with the outside world. I am already scared for this winter when we will be trapped indoors. While deciding if we are moving in the next few months or not, we are yet to purchase a swing set . We did however get a sandbox. The first night after having it Kayleigh woke up around 3 or 4 am (something she rarely does anymore) saying "sandbox, sandbox, Kayleigh play sandbox, sandcastle" then just muttered "sandbox" every few minutes for about an hour before drifting back to sleep.
